World-class speaker and topics line-up will inform, inspire and fuel success

IABM today announced the full line-up for its BaM Live™ London conference on 7 December 2023, including breakout sessions. BaM Live™ London is being held at the Novotel London West. Headlined: ‘Resilience Unleashed: Adapt, Innovate, Thrive, Sustain’, the conference examines the key issues and opportunities for MediaTech suppliers and users as they navigate the fast-changing media landscape. The event is built around a complementary schedule of plenary and breakout sessions, giving attendees maximum opportunity to learn and engage.

Our industry is experiencing relentless evolution. Thriving in the MediaTech business is not just about ‘transformation’ at a point in time, but rather about navigating constant change and being prepared to respond to ongoing challenges quickly and cost-effectively. All industry stakeholders, whether technology suppliers or media companies, need to find ways to remain relevant and competitive – resilience is key.  BaM Live™ London is designed from the ground up to equip attendees with the vital knowledge they need not just to survive, but thrive.

“Our Business Intelligence Unit is in daily contact with leaders from all sides of the industry from all over the world, and we have designed the conference schedule based on our intimate knowledge of their concerns and priorities,” said Lorenzo Zanni, Head of Knowledge at IABM. “We have gathered a world-class range of speakers based on this and I am certain that attendees will leave BaM Live™ London informed, inspired and resilient – primed to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead as our industry continues to transform.”

The four plenary sessions already announced (Adapt, Innovate, Thrive, Sustain) are complemented by breakout sessions which dive deeper into burning issues. These include:

  • Convergence – workflows and interoperability are converging and seem simple, yet still involve complex and costly issues relating to sound and color.
  • Interoperability – what are the opportunities and challenges related to interoperability in MediaTech as technology advances rapidly?
  • Talent – addressing the pressing issue of talent shortages in MediaTech: what are the causes and potential solutions?
  • Sustainability (Part 1) – how do MediaTech suppliers leverage innovative technologies to make media operations more sustainable?
  • Sustainability (Part 2) – sustainability is having a profound impact on the media ecosystem – how are organizations actively reducing their carbon footprint across content delivery, supply chains and procurement?

The day conference ticket includes a seat at all plenary and breakout sessions, as well as lunch and refreshments and the post-event drinks reception, providing an unmissable opportunity not only to learn but also to network and help drive the future of the industry. Book before 31 October  to secure the early-bird rate.

The conference and drinks reception are followed by the IABM Awards dinner. The IABM Awards celebrate exceptional people and companies in the broadcast and media industry; we will also be presenting the Peter Wayne Golden BaM Award® – recognizing the very best of the best among the 2023 BaM Awards® winners.
